State Engagement

While Internet Works monitors policy developments in all 50 states, we concentrate our efforts in states where tech policy is moving quickly and where our coalition can have the most meaningful impact. We focus on legislation that could set national precedent, shape the regulatory environment for small and medium-sized platforms, or benefit from our collaborative, substance-first approach.

Today, Internet Works is actively engaged in a select group of priority states where debates on content moderation, transparency, privacy, and artificial intelligence are most influential. Each year, we expand this footprint by adding new states to our priorities as debates emerge and evolve. This approach ensures our coalition is always focused on the most active and consequential policy arenas. In each state, we work closely with members, local stakeholders, and policymakers to advance thoughtful, right-sized solutions.
